- PS: Big news here in Seattle that the Juggernaut of Mediocrity, the Dark
- Empire itself, has been prevented from acquiring Intuit. Myself, I have
- mixed feelings: despise Microsoft, but wonder about restraint of trade by
- the U.S. government. After all, the Justice department seems to be moving
- to destroy a monopoly BEFORE it exists. Somehow, satisfying as that is, it
- doesn't seem right. Busting monopolys, maybe, but not aborting them. After
- all, SOMEBODY might have effectively competed.
